Badminton
Vision
Here in Canberra Secondary School, the Badminton CCA strives to create a challenging yet safe and enjoyable environment for students. In addition to focusing on the technical aspects of the sport, the CCA aims to offer opportunities for students to develop and enhance their leadership skills, while instilling positive values such as gratitude, respect and compassion.
Trainings are usually held on Mondays and Wednesdays after lessons whereas game sessions during holiday trainings occasionally include few friendly matches with other schools. Weekly trainings are conducted by experienced coaches, who closely with the teachers in charge.

Highlights and Achievements
Both B Boys & Girls have qualified for Quarter Finals in the NZ Badminton NSG B Division Tournament.
Both C Boys & Girls have finished in 2nd place in their classification rounds and qualified for League 2 in the National Badminton NSG Tournament in July.
C Boys qualified for Semi Finals of League 2 in the National Badminton NSG Tournament.
