The CPA department aims to develop students’ interests and intellectual capabilities through creative and challenging Computer Application lessons.
We believe in using coursework to enhance the students learning and hands-on skills for the Normal Technical students. Students are constantly encouraged to be creative and exploratory when engaged in both self-directed or collaborative learning activities. In a bid to recognize the effort put in by the students, outstanding work pieces are highlighted and showcased to the school population via the LCD display at the end of the coursework by the month of September.
Students are taught a repertoire of IT skills and tools that present a natural fit into Baseline ICT Skill areas of word processing, spreadsheet, multimedia and internet navigation and searches. Students will also be provided with an opportunity to attend a two days’ attachment to ITE, organized for Sec 2Ts to prepare them for a smooth transition into ITE after their 4NT/ N-Level exam.
