RELEASE OF 2023 SINGAPORE CAMBRIDGE GCE O LEVEL EXAM RESULTS AND 2024 JOINT ADMISSIONS EXERCISE

Release of O Level Results

 1. The results of the 2023 Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level (GCE O-Level) examination will be released on Thursday, 11 January 2024, 2.00pm.

2. The provision for school candidates to view 2023 GCE O-Level online via the Candidate Portal will be ceased from 2023. Candidates should return to schools to collect their hardcopy results slip and/ or certificates.  School candidates who are unable to collect their results in person can also appoint a proxy to collect a physical copy of their results on their behalf from the school. Proxies are required to produce the relevant documents for the school’s verification when collecting the results. School candidates may contact their schools for assistance if they are unable to appoint a proxy.

3. Arrangements have been made for school candidates to receive their results from their secondary schools from 2.00pm on Thursday, 11 January 2024. School candidates who are unwell should seek medical attention and not return to school to collect their results.

Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE)

4. Students who wish to apply for admission to junior colleges (JC), Millennia Institute (MI), polytechnics, and the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) may do so via the Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE) using their GCE O-Level examination results.

5. Eligible school candidates will receive a digital copy of Form A1 via their registered email addresses from 2.00pm on Thursday, 11 January 2024. All candidates eligible for JAE may also download a copy of Form A from the JAE-Internet System (JAE-IS) during the application period.

6. The JAE-IS will be accessible from 4.00pm on Thursday, 11 January 2024, to 4.00pm on Tuesday, 16 January 2024 for applicants to submit their course choices through the JAE website at www.moe.gov.sg/jae. Applicants are strongly encouraged to use the JAE worksheet (www.moe.gov.sg/jaeworksheet) before submitting their online application.

7. The JAE-IS can be accessed using Singpass. Applicants can find more information on the following MOE websites:
