The L.I.F.E Curriculum – 4 powerful life lessons
At Canberra, students’ learning for life begins with learning about life through a series of specially-curated lessons and experiences about the 4 stages of one’s life – namely; Life (birth), Infirmed, Frail and End-in-mind (Legacy mindset).

Cohort 1 students celebrate their unique identity and advocate for family life through participating in a series of family challenges. |
Infirmed |
Each day’s a bonus Difficult destination Marked by the tide’s moiré |
Cohort 2 students advocate for active aging by learning about the six domains: physical health, socio-emotional health, lifelong learning, digital connectedness, environment, and nutrition. Their learning culminates in creating educational booths about active aging for the National Day CarniVIAl celebrations. |
Frail |
They leave their footprints With one last journey till rest As timeless wisdom |
Cohort 3 students befriend the elderly, learning to appreciate and value the wisdom of our seniors. |
End-in-mind |
Gracefully they go As light shifts from night to dawn Memory endures |
Cohort 4 students prepare activity packs for patients at HCA hospice to enjoy with their caregivers, creating fond memories. Selected students also serve at the hospice, gaining valuable insights into palliative care and the importance of empathy and compassion. |
