NUS Geography Challenge 2026
Four Canberrans — Florah Esther Prince, Brayden Khoo Wee Kiat, Aathithya City Babu, and Luzaina Khalil Baig — represented Canberra Secondary School at the NUS Geography Challenge 2026 on 28 February, themed "City for Tomorrow: Shaping Our Liveable Future."
The team competed in both the Individual and Team Components of the Preliminary Round, as well as the Creative Component, which involved fieldwork on Singapore's liveability. Brayden Khoo Wee Kiat was awarded Silver and Aathithya City Babu Bronze — strong results that reflect their passion for the subject.
Team leader Luzaina Khalil Baig described the experience as "one of the most intellectually stretching" of her secondary school journey.
